Welcome to Coding with Kids!

Please read the Terms of Service (“Agreement”) carefully before using the services offered by Coding with Kids, LLC. By using the services, you expressly acknowledge that you have read and understand all of the Terms of Service of this Agreement and agree to be bound by and comply with this Agreement which is a contract between you and Coding with Kids, LLC. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change or modify portions of these Terms of Service at any time. If we do this, we will post the changes on this page and will indicate at the bottom of this page the date these terms were last revised. We will also notify you through an email notification or through other reasonable means.

Subscription

Coder's Ladder® Annual Subscription

This subscription offers discounted rates in exchange for a full-year commitment. By purchasing this subscription, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Subscription Period: Your annual subscription is active for 12 consecutive months. You may not pause your subscription. You may apply your subscription to a Coder’s Ladder® class that begins during the upcoming billing cycle start week. See the Annual Calendar for billing cycle start dates.
Subscription Details: The subscription includes once-a-week Coder’s Ladder® classes for a 12-month period (starting from the activation date).
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions will be automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period unless canceled. The renewal price will be charged to your payment method as long as the subscription remains active. To pause future charges, just cancel the renewal in your account.
Non-Redeemable: Neither the credit nor any other part of the subscription is redeemable for cash.
Non-Transferable: The subscription is non-transferable and can only be applied to the student selected at the time of purchase. Any office hours included in the subscription may only be redeemed by the student to whom the subscription is applied.
Expiration: Any unused classes included in the subscription will expire at the end of the subscription period and cannot be carried over into future renewals.

Coder's Ladder® Session-by-session Subscription

By purchasing this subscription, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Subscription Period: The session-by-session subscription is active for selected dates.
Subscription Details: The subscription includes once-a-week Coder’s Ladder® classes for the selected number of class dates.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions will be automatically renewed at the end of the subscription period unless canceled. The renewal price will be charged to your payment method as long as the subscription remains active. To pause future charges, subscriptions must be canceled.
Non-transferable: The subscription is non-transferable and can only be applied to the student selected at the time of purchase.
Expiration: Any unused classes included in the subscription will expire at the end of the subscription period and cannot be carried over into future renewals.

One-Time Registration

Enrichment classes

By purchasing this registration, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Class: The class is running on the selected dates.
Course Details: The registration fee includes enrichment classes for the selected number of class dates.
Non-transferable: The course is non-transferable and can only be applied to the student selected at the time of purchase.
Expiration: Any missed classes included in the course will expire at the end of the course period and cannot be carried over into future courses or be made up.

Camps

By purchasing this camp registration, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Camp dates: The camp is running on the selected dates.
Camp Details: The registration fee includes half or full day camp for the selected dates.
Non-transferable: The camp is non-transferable and can only be applied to the student selected at the time of purchase.
No make ups: Any missed camp dates cannot be carried over into future camps or be made up.

Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Our priority is to ensure a positive experience for both students and parents. If for any reason we do not meet your expectations, please inform us so we can address the issue promptly. If a class needs to be canceled due to not meeting minimum enrollment requirements, we will make every effort to accommodate you by transferring you to a comparable class. If no suitable alternative is available, a credit or full refund will be provided.

Annual Coder's Ladder® subscriptions

Cancellations are permitted under rare circumstances.
Any used classes, camps, or office hours will be subtracted from the subscription at their regular rate.
A 20% cancellation fee will be applied to the remaining value of the subscription.

Live-Online Camps and Enrichment Classes

You have the option to make changes or request cancellations under the following conditions:

No fee: Up to 48 hours prior to the start of the course.
$30 processing fee: Within 48 hours to the start of the course.
Students may join late, but tuition will not be prorated.
Makeup classes are not available.
No changes or refunds are permitted after the start of the course.

In-Person Enrichment

You can make changes or request cancellations according to the following guidelines:

No fee: Up to 48 hours prior to the start of the course.
$30 processing fee: Within 48 hours to the start of the course.
Students may join late, but tuition will not be prorated.
Makeup classes are not available.
No changes or refunds are permitted after the start of the course.

In-Person Camps

Changes or cancellations can be made as follows:

No fee: Up to 7 days prior to the start of the camp.
$60 processing fee: Within 7 days to the start of the camp.
Students may join late, but tuition will not be prorated.
Makeup classes are not available for camps.
No changes or refunds are permitted after the start of the camp.

Live-Online Coder's Ladder® & Private Classes

Refunds and cancellations for these classes are outlined as follows:

No free trial classes are offered; however, a full refund can be requested if you are not satisfied after the first regular class.
A student may enroll in Coder's Ladder® twice, but only one refund is permitted per type of class. If they try the class and cancel once, they can re-enroll but will not be eligible for a second refund.
No refunds are available after the second class.
Changes to a different day or time of class can be made at no additional cost.
If auto-pay processes a payment and you wish to cancel, you can issue a credit to your account up to 48 hours before the start of the next class. Only credits are allowed, and no refunds will be issued.
Cancellations between 48 hours and the start of the course will result in a $30 processing fee.

Non-Solicitation of Instructors

During the term of this agreement and for a period of twelve (12) months thereafter, you shall not, without the prior written consent of Coding with Kids, directly or indirectly solicit or hire any instructor employed or contracted by Coding with Kids for private classes or similar educational services. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a breach of the service agreement and could lead to legal action or the imposition of a substantial fee.

Quality Assurance Video Recording Consent

It is our goal to provide the best possible experience and education. Thus, Coding with Kids records all classes for quality assurance and training purposes. The recording is stored in a company-controlled account and accessible only to authorized supervisors. The recording would be used purely for internal class quality review or for training of new instructors. No video, audio, still images or quotes from such recording would be used outside of such purpose. Any recording would be kept for a maximum of one year and then will be permanently deleted, with the exception of any short segment that would be included into internal training. None of the recordings would include names of the participants. This consent is valid for any current and future programs you or your child participate in with Coding with Kids.

Liability Waiver

By participating in Coding with Kids programs, including classes and summer camp activities, you agree to the following:

I, as the parent/guardian, hereby agree on behalf of myself, my registered minor children, and personal representatives that Coding with Kids shall not be liable for any injuries, loss, illness, or physical or mental trauma that I or my child may suffer as a result of my child’s participation at class or camp regardless of whether the injury, trauma or illness is incurred as a result of participation in the Coding with Kids programs, including classes and summer camp activities.

I understand that Coding with Kids is not responsible for personal property lost, damaged or stolen during Coding with Kids classes and camps and while using the premises of our partners and host schools.

Communication

General Communications

By using our services or otherwise registering for an account and providing us with your email address and/or phone number, you agree to receive informational and transactional-related alerts and communications via email, SMS, and/or telephone calls from us or others calling on our behalf (e.g., our Business Affiliates) related to your account or the services for which you are enrolled. You agree that these communications may be received even if your phone number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list, or international equivalent.

Promotional Calls and Texts

Where applicable, during your registration or when making a purchase, you may be given the opportunity to consent to receive promotional and marketing-related communications, including to share with you new service offerings, special offers, or other information that we feel might be useful for you. By providing your consent to such communications, you understand that SMS and telephone calls may be generated by automatic dialing systems or through the use of prerecorded or artificial voice messages. You understand that standard text and calling rates will apply.

Electronic Communications

By registering for our services and providing us with your email address, you agree to receive electronic communications, including for marketing or other promotional purposes, subject to applicable law. You agree that any notice, agreement, disclosure, or other communication electronically sent by us to the email address you provide satisfies any legal communication requirements, including that such communications be in writing. You can unsubscribe at any time from our mailing list after receiving the first email from Coding with Kids, LLC.
