HOW DO PRIVATE CLASSES WORK?
CLASS SCHEDULE
- You will meet with your private instructor once a week for a 50-minute class.
- This is a continuous program with a 6-8 week billing cycle, no need to re-register every session and your instructor, day, and time are always reserved. Billing cycles will follow our Coder’s Ladder billing calendar.
INSTRUCTOR CHOICES
- You will have an option to select any of the instructors assigned to teach the class of your choice. You can pre-filter the schedule (registration table below) by instructor to see the times when they are available to teach private classes.
PROGRAM CHOICES
- You can choose a Coder’s Ladder class or a specialty Coder’s Pathways class
- Coder’s Ladder classes are offered by Coder’s Ladder Level. If you are an experienced student, your private instructor will review your latest score card and continue your education from there.
- Coder’s Pathways classes are offered by pathway (not by an individual course within a pathway). Beginners will start with the first course in the pathway. Experienced students will continue working on the pathway where they left off, with the next course in the pathway sequence. Your instructor will work with you through a quick review of what you have already learned and then continue with new material.

PRIVATE CLASS REGISTRATIONS
While there is always an option to pay session-by-session, students can take advantage of awesome savings by subscribing to our annual package. This 12-month subscription is available for once-a-week classes.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:
- Subscription is available for once-a-week Coder’s Ladder classes and private classes.
- Subscription is valid for 12 consecutive months of classes.
- Annual subscription is highly discounted and consequently refunds or credits are extremely limited and carry high cancellation fees. Please, see our cancellation policy.
- Purchased subscription will be applied to your registration starting with the first day of the next billing cycle after your purchase. Check the Coder’s Ladder Billing Calendar for dates.
- If you are already registered for a Coder’s Ladder class, just purchase the subscription package of your choice and it will be automatically applied, starting with the next billing cycle.
- If you are not currently registered for a Coder’s Ladder® class, select the class you would like to attend and during the checkout steps select an annual subscription.

POLICIES
- Enrollment is open year-round, typically every 2 weeks. Tuition is collected every 8 weeks. If you join in the middle of a pay period, our system will prorate your tuition automatically.
- Missed classes: We will offer one class credit for a missed class during a billing period. You must announce your absence in your parent account a minimum of 24 hours in advance. If a 2nd class within one billing period is missed or a class is missed without notification, no credit will be provided.
- Billing. Private classes registrations are for an ongoing class. Your card will be charged prior to each billing period. Billing periods are normally 8 weeks, but the actual length and number of classes may vary from 5-8 weeks depending on billing cycle length and class holidays. We will always send a reminder before the next scheduled payment.
- Cancellation. If you wish to discontinue the program, you may cancel your classes prior to the next payment. You will not be billed again and can finish attending the classes that are already paid for.
